Music inspired by dusk, the night and dawn, through moonlight, Shakespeare, reflection and dreams.
Starting with Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s The Evening Star, we take in themes of moonlight, dreams, reflection, contemplation and prayer, leading up to James MacMillan’s O Radiant Dawn.
With music from the 16th century to the present day, the programme includes

Arthur Sullivan - The Long Day Closes

Ralph Vaughan Williams - Over Hill, Over Dale
The concert will end around 8.45pm, followed by drinks in the church hall.
