A celebration of summer in song, with music from the 13th century Sumer is Icumen In to the present day. The programme includes John Rutter's Birthday Madrigals with their jazz-inspired arrangements of poems by Shakespeare and others, and Alan Bullard's A Summer Garland - a set of five songs from 2002 portraying the varying moods of summer.


Our concert is in the elegant Georgian setting of St Swithin's Church in Bath. It is in aid of Bath and North East Somerset Carers' Centre, a local charity supporting people who care for family and friends who need extra support day-to-day.
